GIVING
The Christian Community depends for its existence on the support of its members and friends. Most people give via their local congregation. Giving supports a number of ongoing and future costs including funding the running and maintenance of our East Clare house and grounds, the support of the costs of running the Christian Community in Ireland, the central fund (the administration of the international movement), supporting the lenker (regional coordinator), running the charity that offers the Christian Community in Ireland a legal framework, supporting priests’ costs and retirement fund, and capital and development funds that contribute to future projects such as the building of a new chapel.
Donations above Euro 250 through businesses and legal entities can also be filed against taxes in Ireland under the Charitable Donation Scheme as we are a registered charity. Please ask for details or speak to your accountant about tax deductible donations.
STANDING ORDER DONATIONS
We encourage congregants to give regularly through monthly standing orders as this allows us to cast more accurate financial projections, and reliably finance our activities. Below is a standing order form in PDF format which includes our bank details.
