Rudolf Steiner’s Philosophy of Freedom (part II)
with Jack Hilma
a weekend seminar at the Christian Community House in Tuamgraney
2nd-4th December 2022
The Reality of Freedom “Our life is made up of free and unfree actions. We cannot, however, think out the concept of man completely without coming upon the free spirit as the purest expression of human nature. Indeed, we are men in the true sense only in so far as we are free. This is an ideal, many will say. Doubtless; but it is an ideal which is a real element in us working its way to the surface of our nature. It is no ideal just thought up or dreamed, but one which has life, and which announces itself clearly even in the least perfect form of its existence.” (Rudolf Steiner, Philosophy of Freedom, Chapter 9, The Idea of Freedom) During this Weekend Seminar we will develop and experience the living concept of the free spirit through experiencing, practicing and applying Rudolf Steiner's Philosophy of Freedom (Part II). Everybody is welcome, even if you missed the Weekend Seminar where we did Part I.
Please book. Facilitator: Jac Hielema Jac is founder of Economy Transformers Academy in the Netherlands, an independent organization for the development of free human action in connection with the one worldwide economy. Since 2013 he teaches the Philosophy of Freedom in the Netherlands, the UK and Germany. This will be his second teaching visit to Ireland. Participant comments: “Thanks to his seminars I became aware that every problem has infinite solutions if only you could get to the world of primal ideas.” “Jac knows how to make the Philosophy of Freedom [...] accessible and experienceable.”
